The Buddy Hollycost was a one-man disaster so I quietly slipped out for some Belgian french fries down the block. I've never been a huge doom metal fan, but Old Mayor was very good, shifting from slow (but not that slow) to almost mid-tempo during a very catchy 30 minute set. Oh, and I love the fact that they brought out all their cute little Brit groupies (who were yelling out some hilarious shit)...brilliant work lads!

After Precious Metal, we headed across the street to Sin Sin/Leopard Lounge, a hotspot for dnb DJs. After listening to a little house music downstairs as part of the weekly 'Slap and Tickle' party, we headed upstairs and found the real treat...freestyle rappers! The last kid looked like a total mamma's boy, but he was the best of them all. Plus, he was wearing a Jello Biafra t-shirt, so bonus points for him.
